In this project, Stage-Lift Hydraulic Cylinders were used for the multi-stage synchronized lifting of offshore drilling platform modules. Two sets of KIET intelligent synchronized lifting hydraulic systems and six 150-ton Stage-Lift Hydraulic Cylinders were deployed to incrementally lift a 720-ton modular section.
Prior to the operation, on-site simulation tests were conducted to ensure reliable equipment performance. All lifting points were interconnected, and the multi-stage lifting process was managed with precise synchronization.

Comprehensive System Functionality Testing On-Site
After the planned arrangement of all lifting points, the modular section was elevated stage by stage. Once the piston of a cylinder reached the height of one cribbing block, an additional block was placed underneath, and the lifting continued. This process was repeated to achieve gradual and controlled elevation of the modular section.

—— Key Advantages ——
- Key Advantages of Stage-Lift Hydraulic Cylinders:
- 1.Robust Structural Design: Enables step-by-step lifting to gradually raise heavy loads.
- 2.2.Double-Acting Cylinder Structure: Allows for rapid hydraulic return.
- 3.Tilt Saddle Design: The top of the cylinder features a self-leveling saddle to accommodate misalignment up to ±5°.
- 4.Built-In Overload Protection: Integrated hydraulic safety devices prevent overload risks.
- 5.Comprehensive Support System: Works with cribbing blocks to ensure load stability throughout the lifting process.
