Hydraulic bolt tensioner usage process:

The hydraulic tensioner mounts the position of the central axis of the bolt to stretch the bolt axially to achieve the amount of tension required by the bolt, and it is this amount of tension that determines the clamping force required for bolt fastening. When the bolt is stretched, the nut will come off the contact surface of the flange, and there is an opening at the lower end of the hydraulic tensioner for the operator to manually turn the nut, usually the rotation of the nut is achieved by a metal pick stick to pluck a pick ring outside the hex nut (or directly pluck the round nut). After removing the oil pressure in the hydraulic tensioner, the nut and the joint surface are tightly attached, thus locking the axial deformation of the bolt, that is, locking the remaining bolt load in the nut.
