In the widespread application of hydraulic synchronous lifting systems for old bridge jacking projects, Servo-Following Hydraulic Jacks were developed to mitigate the control risks associated with sudden hydraulic system failure during the lifting process. These jacks maintain lifting synchronization with the main jacks and provide safety support for the lifted structure in the event of jack or control system failure. Once the follower jack makes contact with the structure, it achieves a state of pure mechanical support.
